The temperature control charge is applied based on the quantity of frozen and meat products in the order. A charge of £0.20 per quantity is applied to cover the cost of temperature control packaging and ice gel packs required to maintain the appropriate temperature during delivery. This charge is not for the temperature control pack alone, it includes the associated ice gel packs and packaging materials used to keep the products at the required temperature.
